After conducting multiple polls, i came to discover that it’s not always looks > personality or personality > looks, it’s a lot deeper than that, the whole “equation”, so to speak, can be broken down into over a hundred different variables. Alright, enough of that math talk (or at least my pathetic attempt to), here are the exact percentages that i’ve gathered.

Across a poll of more than a thousand people…

62% voted for personality over looks

24% voted that they are neutral on it

16% voted for looks over personality

Rather interesting find, isn’t it? That’s why i’m personally a fan of the quote , “It’s beauty that captures your attention; personality which captures your heart.” - beautiful stuff eh?

So all hope is not lost for the many of us that lack in looks but shine through in personality. It would be mean to draw the direct comparison to Ugly Betty as she is a rather extreme case in her sad plight, in my honest opinion (my apologies to all fans of the Ugly Betty out there).
